sorry - it was a real tough time - my dad is in hospital again and i had such a bad flu - i was unable to sleep through for more than three weeks - till my mom forced me to go to the doctor... there i had been treated with antibiotics and a real good cough medicine - now i feel much better although the cough has not really been gone... Yet is "leaving" slowly but surely... This as an intro: there we go to Libya... Eye-wink

The tomatoes gave me the creeps, i.e. heartburn to the level… Why can one not eat anything with tomatoes when having had a tonsillectomy? Yes, precisely – the acidity was “nearly deadly” – I was so stupid and tasted some abt 3 weeks after – that pain I will never forget in my entire life – so why did I ask why I had heartburn…? The funny thing was – I had had heartburn before – yet now it felt like nearly vomiting…

Since I had been nice to one of the Swiss embassy’s employees – even so he had not been nice with my husband – I was rewarded with an interview in the Libyan Swiss Diagnosis Center. The man there was Swiss, too and was looking for a secretary.
I actually thought it would be something similar like big labs in Switzerland. That man’s name was Windel (which can be translated with Diaper) how appropriate when comparing this to my pregnancy… However – he was fm Aarau – that is the capital in our Kanton Aargau. He was very pleased abt my presence in Libya. Of course I did not ask him why he was in Libya… Yet I told him that I was in the 9th month now and would soon give birth to my baby. Ok it was the “moon months” yet – average pregnancies took abt 37,5 weeks – i.e. 9,5 moon months. My week was the 35th in the coming week. However she would come soon – whether with normal months or with the moon… Eye-wink
Actually he was really nice – he asked whether I wanted an appointment now or after the pregnancy. I was nice with him but just though; I am not disabled so I told him – it would be fine now. We made an appointment for Saturday afternoon around 16:00 hrs. He even confessed on the phone I could call him late at night. Told him – that this was not my style. He was sighing there is such a lot to do. I countered: oh buildup? He said yes. He must have been stressed out like Salah… Obviously a common sickness in Libya which was contagious even if foreigner… I did not want to suggest to both of them to shake hands, I was not that sarcastic (yet) but that would come sooner or later anyway… Eye-wink
Of course I was thinking abt my husband too and asked for permission to take him along as well. He could not sit in the car for such a long time and in addition to that in Muslim countries it was not appropriate to leave a wife with a man alone in a building… BRILLIANT – right? Well that is “the Muslim way”… Told him if it was possible in order to be polite and also speak English because of the presence of my husband. Ok Salah understood German pretty well yet he wanted to show off at the end by telling proudly that he understood most of the conversation… Fine and good for him…
Poor Salah what a terrible wife I was… Well I was not – because the director fm Mr. and Ms Smith proved me right – and that was only 2 years later…
